After a year-long wrong turn into the culinary world, I stumbled upon the Web Design program at Seattle Central Community College. By doing so, I discovered a field that is fun, exciting, and challenging. And so I went on to earn my Associates Degree in Web Design.

The best part about creating websites for me is the HTML/CSS phase. The actual design phase is not my strong suit as I had no training in that area. But I love the problem solving and puzzles that coding brings. Working in this field means always learning and always creating. This is why this is the field for me. It never ends. Not everyone gets to make a living doing what they enjoy; I’m one of the lucky ones.
